Merry Meet, and welcome! We are a member group of the Ancient Order of Druids in America, and we have legally ordained clergy who are available for Rites of Passage ceremonies such as weddings, baby blessings, and funerals. We have teaching opportunities available in the form of workshops and teaching intensives.
In our Tradition, we blend Druid Revival-style Druidry with Traditional Witchcraft (or Wicca). This is done quite easily, as the two are nearly identical in belief and practice. The only discernable difference is that Druidry is polytheistic - believing in multiple Gods and Goddesses as separate Beings, and most Wiccan Traditions are duotheistic - believing that all Gods and Goddesses are aspects or facets of The God and The Goddess. In our Tradition, we recognize that being polytheistic or dualistic (or anything else) is a very personal decision, and we do not teach or believe that one is better than the other.
Membership in AODA is required for membership in Three Roads Grove, and rituals are only open to those who are Druid Apprentice or higher (unless otherwise noted). Some rituals, such as the Solstices and Equinoxes, are open by invitation only.
